Valerie
Practice Manager
Valerie attended both Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, focusing on psychology and social work. She worked in healthcare for six years prior to entering the dental field in 1995. Valerie joined our practice under the previous owner in 2013 and remained at Nokesville Family Dentistry after Dr. Simon purchased the practice in 2016. She loves being part of a practice that knows everyone by name and where no one is a number, and where we strive to build excellent personal relationships with all our patients. Valerie has an excellent understanding of how dental insurance works and does her best each day to educate our patients as well as her team members. Her goal is to help give the best estimates possible, despite how difficult it can be to obtain clear coverage information from the dental plans. She has seen how much insurance companies have changed over the past few years as they have reduced the amount of information they share with the dental office. Valerie married her husband, Mike, in 1995. They have three sons and one grandchild, as well as a German Shepherd named Rocky.
